  • Our Founder's Story

Born From the Heart of the Savanna

As a safari guide with 20 years of experience, our founder witnessed a painful reality: when elephants, lions, and buffalos cross park boundaries to raid crops and attack livestock, entire communities are left with nothing — no food, no income, no hope.

Widows, orphans, and poverty follow in the wake of human-wildlife conflict. Ndovu Foundation was born to break this cycle — protecting wildlife, protecting people, and building a future where both can thrive together near Tanzania’s magnificent Tarangire National Park.

  • Ndovu Foundation Vision

"When animals and people fight, everyone loses. When they coexist — everyone wins."

The Ndovu Day Care
& Nursery School

Opened in February 2026 in Burunge B Village — just minutes from Tarangire National Park — our Day Care & Nursery School is the first of its kind in this remote community. We started with 4 children on a single Tuesday morning. Today, over 20 children come through our doors every day to learn, play, and grow.

Voices of Impact

The Ndovu Foundation has already changed lives in Burunge B. Here’s what the people behind those stories have to say.
Before Ndovu Foundation opened this school, there was nothing here for young children. I was a trained teacher with no school to teach in. Today I wake up every morning with purpose — watching these children learn to read their first words is something I will never take for granted.
